Currently, I investigate distributed machine learning, data privacy and explainability of AI methods.
In particular, I investigate federated learning and explainable AI methods for shared mobility services in the Zukunftslabor Mobilität project funded by the federal state of Lower Saxony.
From November, 2021 I will lead the machine learning part in the project
"ML-PRE: Machine Learning for Explainable Roundtrip Polymer Reaction Engineering" as a principal investigator.
MP-PRE is a sub-project of the DFG priority programme 2331 “Machine Learning in Chemical Engineering, Knowledge Meets Data: Interpretability, Extrapolation, Reliability, Trust”.
